Also not knowing much on the tech side of the engine would offer passing spanners and tools around.

I did not even know this was happening.

I am once again astounded at the amount of charitable Fanatics we have on this forum. You guys really are a true family and my heart goes out to all getting involved.

Bruce, I've met you a couple of times and you are always willing to help others. I'm so happy to see karma is returning the favour. I myself cannot make a financial contribution, but if there is any way that I can help, please let me know.

Going to make a list of gentlemen that have offered their services. I have spoken with Both Peter and Bruce. I have found another donor Engine that we think we should get as it has a complete cylinder head, which we need, and spares for the bottom end if need be.

With Gizmo's offer of the pistons and rods, the donor engine and the old engine, we will be able to build a complete working engine.

I will be onboard to film it.

I will be doing budget with Peter to see what out goal is and then will make a new thread stating how much we need. Then donators are welcome to sign there name on that thread. YOU DO NOT HAVE to let anyone know how much you are donating except myself or Bruce. We will keep it confidential if you decide to. You only have to sign your name.

When we meet desired goal, we build engine and car. :thumbs:

This is amazing effort from you end and all involved.

Please, let me know what the final amount is as i would like to list this as one of the instances where money from the charity event will be used. The other being Uber Soldat. These are the only 2 i am aware off. This is me talking, the final decision will be Twinz, however i don't see any issue with my idea.

As with any, i cannot guarantee an amount, it depends on the number attending and generosity on the day of the event. We will be opening pre-registration in the next week or two which might indicate the income (more or less).

Sterling effort again, keep it up. Fanatics Family FTW!!! :thumbs:

If you prep the engine bay, I will paint it for you quickly.

By that I mean you need to degrease it, motor out.

Perhaps when you move the car to go to Gizmo, pop it on a trailer, take it to a carwash that does deep cleaning/pressure cleaning, and let them degrease the engine bay.

Then bring it past, and I will shoot it for you quickly, same day take the car to gizmo.

Thanx LZ. But the colour in the engine bay isn't really an issue I'm more worried about the rust right under the steering column that I can't tell if it's surface or straight through
