Hmmm. WE best have a look at that rust and clean it up. LZ? What can be done on this? How much to fix? Maybe we add that to the list of things to fix if it isn't too bad?

Strip everything around it, but i mean everything, have it pressure cleaned.

I will ask my panel beater to do grind the rust, put some rust inhibitor, paint.

If you do the stripping/preperation, and I can do it in a day, no charge

If I have to do the stripping car will be here for a month, we are really full,

Its the stripping/reassembly that takes a lot of time, bring me a bare engine bay, and i can sort out that rust, its nothing.

Okay. I'll get everything out on Monday as there are still a few stuff we left when we pulled the motor. Then I can take some proper pictures.

LZ by everything what can be left besides the steering column just to ensure that the car can turn.

Look, we can mask everything, but the harder you work, the neater the job, thats how it is with everything..

But pref heatshields

Rubber grommets on firewalls ect, we can mask the ABS ect.

Everything off of the chassis legs at the very least., brake pipes ect, suspension say bars,

Problem is around these parts, is where you have the tiny grease/grime deposits, and thats enough to ruin the paint work, even if it is only base coat black...

Thus, were we need to repair, everything off/out and degreased...

Well just to say this wasn`t expected at all.
Still feels a bit like a huge dream as I never thought that my Witch would ever start again as a whole, never the less be fixed and maybe even a little upgraded.

So we stripped out most of the parts(hope it's enough)

Pictures of the rust.

We scraped of and out all the loose rust and found it bigger than I initially thought. But it looks like only a support bracket, don't know how serious it is though.

LZ is currently dead... He has really bad Flu, so I guess you will only be able to take the car past him in the next week or so.
