So as most of you know The Witch has been undergoing some work after suspected damage caused it to get stripped and had me finding more damage to engine bay than to motor itself.

After long and hard thoughts and hard calculating and conversations with friends and family it has been decided.

The Witch will not be fixed, but get stripped and sold up as spares.


Very very sad I know. But for now it is the better option.

Everything is getting stripped out and sold up.

There is some things that wont be put up for sale like the brake drums, discs, and pistons to name some.

So I have a big list of stuff.

Just want to know if there is any interest in E36 parts. If so I will post up the list with prices and condition of all parts.

Was the heater in working order? I am looking for a heater control valve URgentLY. Please advise.

Price drop bump on rolling chassis with all interior and engine. R25k. Need to go asap as car is really becoming and eyesore. Open to any offers.

Price drop bump on complete car excluding parts thats sold 20k.

Parts that have been sold so far
*Headlights with indicators
*right front wheel well trim
*right front bumper mount
*2 sensors on head
*cover between grill cover and slam tray
*headlight switch

Car is still on the road have papers and everything.

What needs to be repaired
*Head needs to be skimmed
*4 pistons + rings
*all the gaskets
*and maybe the 2nd throttle valve

Other than that there are a few small things but with those three things the car will run again.

Hey guys.
Just don`t want to be a charity case between my fellow fanatics.
Would the rather sell her to a willing person as a project and know she will be fixed and cared for.

So as for parts.
Parts that have been sold as to cover costs on getting new wheels(Might be able to source at scrapyards)

*Headlights and indicators
*Drivers door handle and lock
*The trim which holds the kidneys aswell as kidneys
*Bonnet release clipa & cable
*Head with valves

Parts that needs replacement(As they are worn and wanted to fix before car got running again, as well as damaged caused by pin that broke)
*Secondary throttle valve pin
*4 pistons and rings(Big ends and so still look good)
*Pipe from powersteering reservoir to pump
*Aircon pump bearing

As for prices I have no clue as to what it would cost to repair and didnt really start getting prices as it breaks my heart in seeing her like this.

The motor damage isnt the only problem as there is a rust spot in the engine bay underneath the steering collum that I expect would need to be cut out and a new piece of steal be welded in.

Question is - Do you want to fix this or do you want to sell it?

If you want to fix it, I am sure we can arrange a meet or some kind of charity run to get you on your way to fixing it. I know what it's like to see your pride and joy gutted. Believe me... Some are just not fortunate enough to be able to fix them and that is why I think the forum can make a stand together here and maybe put something together for you.

To be honest I would love to fix her.:inlove: She was and still is my baby.

People will think this very weird and wussy like, but gave her a smallish sponge bath the other day just to get the dust of and felt like crying.

Once you make the decision to strip a car, stick with it because for you to now go and buy all those parts you sold will probably cost double what you sold them for in the first place. Good 2nd hand E36 parts are hard to find these days, believe me...
