I hope that hack job for a rear bumper is not the final product..... Sorry but if this is what the new M2 is gonna look like then BMW has lost the plot, goodluck to the few people who buy this monstrosity

The new M3 looks epic in the flesh. M4 slightly less so, but then again the 4 doors have looked better since they started making them, IMO.
It's definitely arresting, but not in a good way. It's been around for a year now I've seen plenty in a variety of colours and I suppose I'll never think it's pretty.

The old M3/4 looks far, far better to me (talking strictly exterior here of course).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that (unless you think the new M2 rear bumper is nice in which case you are either married to the BMW design team lead or banging him on the side).

I mean at first I thought it was a polo with a BMW badge, I had to squint my eyes to see the BMW in there somewhere. Still struggling though.

The back of the car look like a bug, it has hints of an opel OPC in it with those hideous rear lights with the horrendous brakpan/boxburg dark tint. Then it has those ugly type door reflectors that you find in the pick n pay car isle, those ones you clip onto your doors to stop it getting damaged. It's like a mashup of a few different cars.

The front intake, I tend to agree with another comment about gender neutral, there are no sexy curves. It's like this car was modeled out of a box instead of sculpted.

Anyways they will probably sell like hot cakes because allot of people these days buy cars based on how new and expensive they are, not based on looks.

Rumour has it the new M2 will showcase at M Fest so let's see if it's actually ugly, fugly or just a joke

At this point it's really, really hard to see *what* they're going for in the design. Anyone attending please take pics and maybe even a walk around video - would love to get a better view of this thing. It's less egregious than the M3/4 but it's just ugly from all angles. Did the design team ever stop to look at the renders? What on earth is going on here.

It's a real shame as they on M2 really was a great looking car. Honestly don't feel the urge to upgrade to any of the new m cars coming out. Sticking to my m6 for now.
