Nikhil said:With being on leave yesterday and being bored out of my mind I decided to de cat the Diesel as it was long overdue. I came across some other minor issues which I will address soon, a bit of a boost leak on the charge pipe, rear diff mounts look a bit tired and so do the engine mounts. In the coming months I will be addressing the following.
Remove and clean intercooler
Egr delete and clean
Oil separator to be replaced
Swirl flap delete
Fix boost leak
Replace all rubber mountings , including all suspension mounts engine mounts gearbox mounts
Rear silencer delete:fencelook:
All in all I love this car and it brings me smiles every time I jump in and drive it:inlove:. I highly doubt I will do any performance mods to it in future as it already has an Ac Schnitzer chip.

Well there have been isolated cases of the swirl flaps breaking loose and being swallowed by the intake thus resulting in an engine rebuild. The egr is more for emissions control so it recirculates the exhaust gas back into the engine which means higher charge temps and slight increase in fuel consumption as well as carbon build up in the intake, basically it’s the car eating its own shit hence the delete.
