M3 V8: Pros and Cons...

Was on my way back to Durbs from PMB late last night, so the roads were empty. I tell you the climb up Peacevale is just too irresistible, it never stops and those long sweeping bends :excited:. Like a kid in a candy shop, i couldn't resist this piece of road not occupied by a single vehicle. See in an M3 you don't have to always be RACING someone.

Your talent tends to run out before the back end even starts to give you a slight twitch, its just so planted that the confidence it inspires is just mind blowing :shocked:.
At the end of the day it put a smile on my face and tingle up my spine, best of all i wasn't even racing anyone.

I would tend to agree with you but once the charger is fitted. They cheap when they used, adding R100,000 it makes the car perform like most supercars at a fraction of the cost.
The car is also relatively conservative, so you can go about your daily business with out getting the looks of driving a Ferrari or Porsche around which in my books is a big plus.
A lot of people compare it to the 335 but end of the day the M3 does not come with the associated reliability problems of the 335 which creates major stress if yours is going to be broken next. When you drive the two cars just pushing the brakes you realise that the M3 is on a different level. There I said it :clap:

335 was NEVER, EVER the best car in the world. Not by a long shot. I used to call it a Camry with boost when I had mine. Every1 knew that. It was a solid car with great bang-for-buck & a sledehammer on the highway when it was modded. I never got emotionally attached to mine.
M3 has been proclaimed by the biggest magazines in the world as the best car on the planet. Not by me. No sir ree Bawb. Not by me sir.
Maybe write a letter to CAr & Driver, Motor Trend, Evo, Edmunds, Road & Track & complain about it. don't bother me with your bitching, it's those magazines that said it.
