I got my M3 now for 6 months from brand new and put the akrapovic system on it.......there is no better sound and feel than a M V8 with some slight mods

Here you go- note Sherwin- is +/- half a car ahead out the line. The Z4 catches and maintains all the way down the run. Note- Bone STOCK Z4 M vs Exede Tuned e90 M3 with Exhaust- hows them Pork Pies.

Ryan, I am so over these pissing contests that I wasn't even going to post. People pointed me to this thread & I said, "yeah, I lost" 'cos I actually was too busy & couldn't care less.

Then I see this post & I really have to say it's a lie. I'm sorry if you don't agree. Darren is on this forum & I'm sure he recalls what happened. At no stage did the Z4 pass me. I was ahead all the way & started opening bigger from 4th. And because it was 2 buddies racing, I did just enough to win without abusing the car.

I believe a V8 M3 will run 237+ on the 1km soon. That's what it's capable of with chip + zorst on a decent run. With no stripping. And stripping 46kg from a 4 door M3, still makes it heavier than an unstripped 2 door with carbon roof. All I Was trying to do was get my weight to that of a 2-door.

A V8 M3 isn't necessarily about all out power. There are faster cars out there. But it's fast enough & the pleasure from driving it is unrivalled. Having one in the garage is an awesome feeling 'cos when you want to go out and drive a car that will reward you back, you know you can.

I don't want to get into any arguments with you guys, so if you diagree then so be it, I am a liar I will concede. No need to try to argue me to the ground, I concede already.

I don't even want to argue about this video where the same M3 & Z4 ran, I think the witnesses that saw it say it was lightpoles, but I'm not interested in arguing about it.

Just by the way- if you keen to try a modded C63 with your Exede M3 can arrange a hookup for you. Personally I think the ones you ran were pretty pap !!!!

But let me be brutally honest with you. Your car was slow. M3's were slower on the day, mind you. But you 63 was slow nonetheless.

I want to see C63 run 11.8 in Mtuba. DCT V8 in the states ran 11.8 already n/a with 2.3L less. Imagine what would have happened if BMW built a 6.2L M3 V8.....MB Drivers...>:bawling: Actually C63 engines capacity falls in big brother category M6 & even this engine is a few liters short.

This guy has since super charged it best time of 11.450@210. We V Boxed a DCT a week ago, one of the limited edition ones without LC it managed 12.7sec, completely stock. I'm sure within this year u will see a 11sec V8M. Sherwin mentioned that they are working on one. And it's possible DCT box make a big diff. Merc guys will have to wait until next C63 is out to get 7/8 Speed DCT unless u can afford SLS. BMW always 1 UP!!!:thumbsup:

Even when next M3 goes turbo charged it will still be smaller cc's than Merc. Will probably be 4.4L twin turbo, twin-scroll. I hear Merc is also going turbo charged but wait...& yes...wait for it, 5.5L twin-turbo. Without these extra cc's & ponies they can do nothing but waste fuel & harm the environment. BMW, efficient dynamics. The Ultimate Driving Machine.

I think a 63 will easily run 11's in Mathuba.

I we gonna compare the times in the states then it should be known that a n/a C63 has gone 10.7

There were claims of a stock 135 beating a porsche 911 turbo and people going around on every thread saying mine is bigger than yours and its really just making it the forum unpleasant for everyone as the main reason people join the forum is to avoid dealerships and look to fix problems themselves. Ive driven a 911 Carrerra 4. I know how fast porsches are. Hell my car would struggle to keep up with a boxster s. Im in the process of convincing my dad to get a c63. He loves Mercs, i love beemers. Its down to preference. Im not there to beat every car. Then ill dice corsas, hondas and golfs. To make your car the best it is you test it against the best. I can see you have a fast Merc and would love to see its potential. They are beautiful cars.

Just trying to compare 2 similar cars in the same class (irrespective of cubic capacity).
