Have to agree Twinz. Merc put a bigger engine in the class for the M3 and C-class Merc. Thats the M divisions bad. I think as everyone is going the forced induction route the new M3 and c63 is gonna be much more exciting head to head and cant wait to see that. For now, pure straight line, its gonna have to be the Merc.

and for my avatar is kind of those things where you call a tall guy shorty. :mmm: hehehe

I doubt we gonna see a twin turbo 5.5 in the C-Class.

Merc wont be able to justify why the CL and S-Class guys pay almost double for a car with the same engine and a bit more luxury.

Twin turbo 5.5 in the E-Class was just launched with MCT box and launch control. Should be quite a monster, I guess we will have to
wait and see how it fairs against the new M5. From the test videos I saw the new M5 sems to be quite a package I just hope they do
something about the looks to make it stand out against the rest of the 5 series range.

335 was NEVER, EVER the best car in the world. Not by a long shot. I used to call it a Camry with boost when I had mine. Every1 knew that. It was a solid car with great bang-for-buck & a sledehammer on the highway when it was modded. I never got emotionally attached to mine.

M3 has been proclaimed by the biggest magazines in the world as the best car on the planet. Not by me. No sir ree Bawb. Not by me sir.

Maybe write a letter to CAr & Driver, Motor Trend, Evo, Edmunds, Road & Track & complain about it. don't bother me with your bitching, it's those magazines that said it.

In light of your statement below, I am unsure about the magazine reviews.
In all fairness, it looks like Sov was referring to the performance of a stock M3 to be a bit disappointing. And actually it is. But everyone that bought an M3 could have afforded a V10 or other faster car but chose the M3 for the full complement of virtues it brings to the table. And over the last year or so the performance has come a long was as well. Just goes to show how quickly things change.
