So test time again and here are some figures for my new 3door m135i auto.

1/4 mile .......... 12.96 seconds .......... 176km/h

800mts ........... 216km/h

1000mts ......... 228km/h

Nice figures for a car with low mileage.

Car standard 164km on the clock.Apparently all the new cars with the M badge on the side have less interference on torque dampening.

Silly questions here, I assume that all tracks have some sort of incline and decline? Does it refer to the incline/decline when running from start to finish? Is it safe to assume that times on a track with an incline will be slightly higher?

Do new cars not need any run in before thrashing them these days?

Like international race tracks you take altitude at start and at finish. The track i use on all the cars starts at 1436mts and 1434mts at the 1km mark.I think you will see that at ODI you have very similar conditions.
Because of the facility not being able to accomodate runs in the other direction I cannot check exact differences for you but doubt if there would be more than 0.1 or 0,2 of a second in times.
I would like to say that all cars i test are with the same criteria and 98 octane fuel.
Idid do a run with the car with 95octane just for interest and that exit speed only came out at 223km/h.
Just goes to show how these n55's need octane.A number of people do conversions just to get this type of increase.

Not critical anymore like in the old days.
