I got a quote a while ago for R47k ex fitting, but i dont think the sales guy really understood what i was asking for. no one at the agents at that time had a clue about the M performance parts. Took a week just to get a quote for the exhaust, that was R10k ex fitting. stupid price. You should just give em a call and see what they say. the PPK for the 125i doenst even give you 328i power so not sure if its really worth it.

i also tried schnitzer, the guy said they dont have an upgrade for the 125i. they can stick the same one on as the F30 320i, but then your warrantee is void. The schnitzer guy told me that BMW does not want the 125i giving a stock M135i a hiding.

Even a PPk for the 125i wont make it beat a stock 135i ? the 135i is 225kw isnt it?and the new one is 235kw?

Also the 125i ppk will put it more in line with the 328i - even though the 328 has a little extra power the 1 series is lighter and it makes up for that.

Just wish I knew who would be the right person to chat to. BMW should really have some reps on this site :D

Nice gains.

I recently drove a 135 coupe with a power kit fittted and you can feel the difference from stock.

The dealers gave me a verbal quote of R15k for the PPK, waiting for the oficial quote now.

BTW, the schnitzer oke said and i quote "we do not offer a performance kit for the F20/21 125i because BMW does not want the car to be faster than a M135i" well not one that will keep the motorplan active in anycase.

forgot to add, the quote excludes fitting. workshop billed at R670/h so no idea how long it takes to do all that work, he said it is for the complete package (intercooler and what not), so if thats the case then its not a bad price at all.

the part number is 11 12 2 294 610

Sounds reasonable I think ??
Let us know if you get a formal quote.

R15k sounds very reasonable. Peanut are you gonna go ahead and do it? What transmission do you have? A/T or manual? Which specific dealer are you chatting to?

I have a 6speed. I'm not really sure, my confidence in the system is a bit low seeing as the agents don't really seem to know what's cutting with the F20 ppk. Have been chatting with auto Bavaria and still waiting for the formal quote from them. He send me a snapshot of pretty much the same thing as the earlier link posted by M3_devil

IMO take a JB unit and plug it into the 125i.

Instant power and will pump a 328i power figures.

Best part is JB has a full support world wide and is a 5min install and uninstall.

1/4 of the cost.

I have a JB4 Stage 2 from BMS and run a special fuel mix. I made 239.7kw and 508nm. Have a dyno graph to prove this....

How do you go about the fuel mix?
Is this like the E85 fuel that they are recommending?

I use 50% Ethanol and 50% 95RON Pump fuel. You just need the flex fuel wires installed for this as well. To enrich the fuel mixture....
