1. There is an independent test that was done at the University of Cape Town with one bottle NF ultra mixed with 40 Liters of pump fuel. It raised 95 Ron to over 100 Ron. You can PM me and I will whatsapp you the results.

2. Irrespective of the fuel concoction that you put into your car...The octane value will always be a guessing game. To know the octane value of fuel that you use you have to test it.

3. If you log the car with the fuel mixture I recommend in my post above it will give us a very good indication of your fuel trims and generally how the car is behaving or coping. if map 5 is not available then you can log on map 1 or 2.

4. NF concentrate is concentrated racefuel. It is not an octane booster like the rest in the NF range that will foul the plugs especially if you follow the manufacturers instructions. Its good bang for the buck.

Thanks I was not aware of that.

Have you run map 7 with Nf Ultra?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is your take on NF Ultra(silver can) twinz?
Would half tank of pump fuel + 1Can NF be to strong for a 135i?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

My car has jb4 fitted, but not sure why we can get the HPFP values up?
Values are low , is this because the car is not getting high enough octane or not getting or suffering from fuel starvation?

Half a tank is about 30Liters of pump mixed with one bottle Ultra (silver) tin will be fine on map7. But log on map 1 or 2 first so we can see how the car behaves.

What is you hpfp values at the moment?
Pop me a log here: [email protected]

Jeppe...yes to your question. That was when I was running a racefuel map.

I am currently running an ethanol map for about two years now with eth and race fuel mix.

Has any done any testing with NF Ultra or other fuels on a stock car to gauge gains? Assuming that the NF Ultra will not only benefit cars with JB units in them. Would be nice to understand what the gains of the various items offer. Cant seem to find any threads logging the gains at various stages of the build.

It makes a nice diff I gained roughly about 8wkw's over pump fuel.

Thanks for confirming that Dean. Will be nice for someone to post an FBO build thread so we can learn from it. Maybe JP will be kind enough :fencelook:

Does JB4 improve fuel consumption with the same driving? My Revo2 GTI was a lot more efficient than stock driving normally.

Map 5 not available for F30 yet.

Jeppe what other mods do you have on the car? Perhaps you can help test the new map 5 firmware?

Drop me a mail at: [email protected]

Terry posted it to n54tech but removed it after a few guys downloaded it.

Currently have m perf exhaust, jb4 and dp

Ive been holding off buying the bms intake - lots of idle probs.

The jb4 is a race tune. Frugality is not part of the package. But you can put it on map 4 and drive stock if you want stock fuel consumption.

Turbo1 has a brilliant saying....

If you want a stable full of HORSES, you have to feed them well!

Pre, the only problem is, i didnt log nor dyno the car during the whole build process. So it would be difficult to show gains for mod.

I really only have a base and final dyno.
:sorry:

Thanks JP. I still think your car deserves a build thread as you put in so much of hard work and achieved awesome results. Going to nominate it for the car of the month feature
