I am new to the forum, looking forward to be part of the community.
I am currently building a M52B28 with the aluminium block, which will be fitted in my 1991 BMW E30
I would like to know, i have a m54 intake camshaft and a M52 exhaust camshaft, the M54 cam still has it’s original sprocket, plates and spring washer with the M54 helical nut.
I test fitted it with the M52 single vanos, it fits all the way and can be bolted to the head, i see some people grinding the nut down 3mm for the vanos not to bottom out so it can be bolted flush with the head, but everything seems to fit correctly on my side. Am i missing anything, or has anyone done this before?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!
Oh and i need to find a front sump from a M50/M52 otherwise the engine will never go in
