No, making a plan with German_Spec for the install. :ty:

Hi Guys, so I bought a JB4 from someone off the forum, and thought that today since i'm on leave could fit it on. got the manuals and watched the videos, was all ready.
fitted it on and tried to start, just swings and swings, so I check and recheck for at least another 20 times, all the connections are fine, the power is connected, but still doesn't take. I disconnect the JB4 and its fine, do that atleast another 5 times back and forth. even connect it to my laptop while it was powered up with the normal connection, still nothing.

I did exactly what the manuals said. were you supposed to still get something on your laptop when the engine isn't running, but when its connected to the car?
could the unit be faulty? any assistance please.

We receive regular updates from BMS and have waited for the module firmware to be released. So as soon as we get an EWG car we will report on that.

Do you have a 1M?

What would be your goal for the car? Just want a tune or going full FBO?

I want to go with akro rear slip ons with the n55 mid section and maybe akro downpipes.
Larger intercooler and charge pipe and meth kit aswell.

what other mods would you recommend?

Cool.

My suggestions would be:
1. DP
2. Akra for some noise
3. Leave the midsection stock
4. Cobb or Jb4
5. Intercooler
6. CP with a Tail BOV
7. Dont go meth (yet). Experiment with an ethanol mix and log until you find the right mix
8. Lpfp upgrade

Those would be a seriously good start.
