@Kish: I know that a BMW dealer will not do any mods on my car...i was asking for an independant dealer who is familiar with JB4 and exhaust modifications....

I know what to be changed inside the original exhaust but I have no working place and welding machine...ok...I am also too lazy to modify my exhaust...who can do that in Joburg area for a reasonable price?

Hello peoples.
Can I get some assistance with codes please:

3447
2c90 (tuner code apparently)
2D90
2CED.

The latter worry me.

The car is also leaning out from 4,500rpm, seen especially on the dyno where im making peak power (230wkw :thumbdo: ) at 4,4xx rpm.

Thanks in advance

have you got a log to go with Devon?

3447: there is no direct description found but this code goes along with your 2d90 code... follow this link for other experiences,

code 3447

2CED is: 0x 2CED - 11501 - Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter dynamics, from rich to lean: Slow response

2D90 I cant find...

2C90 is a plausibly code aka tuner code

have you been working around your dp or o2 sensors?

Yeah I got logs to go with it hey. Very very frustrating. Not sure how to attach it here though.
I saw that o2 sensor, I then changed the o2 sensor after the cat, and no change at all hey.
Changed the MAF today, aaaannnddd still nothing, thinking its something affecting the AFR.

I had this nice list earleir:
3447 No descrip
2D15 No descrip
2CED No descrip
2C57 Reduced Power mode / boost disabled
29D0 No descrip
0000 No descrip
0000 no descrip

i think 2D15 and 2CED are linked as they both relate to the same thing apparently with the research that I have done, led me to that same page there. Thanks though Kish
This JB unit was bought off HardM3 who bought it from Rennzsport. I doubt its the unit, but yeah. Everything was reset prior to use.
Had issues with ISO where the car would literally die off completely as I went into 4th. went off ISO, and the base file. Car now runs alright, but im peaking power at 4,400rpm.

German_Spec Thank you very much for taking the time of your busy schedule to install and set up my jb:joy:. I really appreciate the assistance, which didn’t cost me a cent, but I know it sure did cost your time. It is helpful to know some who has the knowledge and experience on JB, after meeting you for the first time and within the first 10 mins, two qualities stood out distinctly; passion for the brand, professionalism. My sincere thanks and appreciation bud:ty:. Admin, if you can please add 10 thanks you to German_ spec. Also thanks to Revo for hooking us up:thumbs:

I just installed the JB4 on my E90 335i and am running map 1 and its friggin AWESOME. I cannot believe how the car has changed, it pulls like a train. Todays dyno was 236kw and 520 Nm on the wheels. Unbelievable!

Just want to say thanks to Twins and C chris for all the time and effort spent helping me sort out my car.

The professionalism and support I've received from Rennzport is truly amazing.

I've been to a point where I've almost given up trying to find a solution for manual transmission F series cars, But these guys never dissapoint!

Thank you :praise::praise::bravo:

I am waiting to install downpipes and de-cat in July

In the case if n54:

Map 1 is a fixed boost map and will take the car from the stock boost of 8psi to a maximum of 13psi without any further supporting mods.

Map 2 is similar to map 1 and is also a fixed boost map but with a higher maiximum of 14.5psi, this map is not recommended without supporting mods of at least a downpipes to allow for easier breathing.

Map 5 is an auto tuning map and uses a logic algorithm to adjust boost and fuel enrichment to different octane available, hotter and cooler temps and supporting mods.

A can of octane booster will really extract the best of your car regardless of the set up on map 5...

There you go straight from the experts. I couldn't have said better.

According to Terry of Burger tuning, he says that a fixed boost map is always better on a dyno than the learning map 5 due to frontal airflow over bumper not being sufficient, with that being said however I would do 2 runs on the dyno, map 5 first and map 1 after, don't do it the other way around as map 5 does relearn each time it is switched out and back into it.

What mixture of E85 is required to run Map 7 on JB4?

I purchased the flex fuel wiring.

F30 335i - JB4 + Downpipe

Where can one purchase premixed ethanol in Durban?

Run the car on map 5 with 25 Liters pump fuel and one bottle NF Ultra concentrate fuel. Then do a log and send it to Chris or Kish who are Jb4 users in Durban or to [email protected]
