howsit guys.. as per my previous thread i was lookin for a box shell to put an m3 engine in, bt the guy whom i supposed to buy the engine from is a cake so didnt get the engine:thumbdo:... anyway i found my an oryt two door shell n starting me a weekend project:rollsmile:.. ive started on sunday.. so far al ive done was put on side skirts and started flatting the car to have it resprayed.. here r sum pix.. im gna b needin interior n an m3 e36 engine.. so if any1 does have sum u wana sell pls pm me..

Did you consider using a 328i motor? You can get really good power gains.
Also cheaper.

M3 motor R35K , 328i motor R14K , M20B25 turbo motor R30K ....depending on boost :rollsmile:

328i motor bored to 86 m.m. then use 2.0 16 valve opel superboss pistons , gives about 2927 cc in place of 2793 c.c. , more power and torque .
M50B25 inlet manifold , viper or tnt branches , Promotec chip ....
I would expect about 170 flwheel kw at the coast , about 290 n.m. torque .

I would also rather put in a M50 325/8 with some normally aspirated mods.You will save yourself some bucks and avoid the frustration of sourcing and purchasing M3 spare parts down the line.However if you do have the budget then a M3 engine would be the ultimate and most unique.
