Crash_Nemesis said:Well, @ 9psi the volumetric flow rate from the supercharger is 758cfm. cubic feet per minute. (758 litres an hour).
Amount: 1 cubic foot per minute (cu ft/min) of flow rate
Equals: 28.32 Liters per minute (L/min) in flow rate
thus:
Amount : 758 cubic feet per minute (cu ft/min of flow rate)
Equals : 21 464.17 Liters per minute (L/min / flow rate)
Equals : 1 287 850.2 Liters per hour (L/hr / flow rate)
Good decision all round!a1exander said:I am taking a smoke break so thought it appropriate to update the post.
It gives me great pleasure to advise you all that the car will start normally aspirated.
This will accomplish a number of things:
1. It will afford time for proper research on the inter cooler
2. It will relieve some of the money pressure as the build has been expensive.....very expensive.
3. It will afford Chris the opportunity to asses the power of the engine after the rebuild on an apples for apples benchmark.
4. The engine will be run in with no stress.
So all things being equal I am mating box and engine together and will insert over tonight and tomorrow morning.
We have all the parts needed for the start up excluding anti freeze which we shall get in the morning and hopefully it will start Wednesday night Thursday morning.
Will obviously update with pics as we go along.
