Crash,

I feel you're pain. Cars can be heart breakers.
Sorry to hear all the shit you have been through with your car and spanner monkeys, it's a learning curve. Tuning makes things even more complicated and frustrating.

Hope you get her sorted soon and many reliable km to come.

Peter is the main man to rebuild engines! Don't think there is anyone better. You learn allot from your engine and know exactly whats going on!

Back from the engineers after having dropped the block head and pistons.

Major work to be undertaken with hammer and chisel as motor was damaged by overfuelling and our k@k petrol.

Rings and other goodies on their way in from Obama land and we should be assembling on Saturday if they arrive on time.
Colour for the block is being mixed at present and it will definitely be to everyone's liking

I have booked an appointment with my manicurist as Crash is a cheapskate and refuses to have one in attendance.

Music for the next video will be Schiller or I will put the pistons in back to front......as well as assemble it with FIAT bolts (consider yourself advised Mr Crash).

Looking forward to the build as this will be the first charged motor that I shall be building.

We have decided to charge an entrance fee for those wishing to come and see a well muscled stud assemble the engine.

Tickets at the gate at the most reasonable price of R1000 (bring your refreshments with) and we shall also have a preview screening of Crash's latest movie idea "jezebel you $lut you broke my piggy bank"

Stay tuned it is only 5 sleeps away.

Oh and peter.... why do you have Fiat bolts in stock... is there something that you are not telling us...

And no self respecting man will actually have the nerve to walk up to a counter and buy Fiat bolts...

I think you have some explaining to do Lucy....

A young friend of mine made mention of FIAT bolts whilst we were striping the engine....wonder how it came to mind given that she is of the female persuasion I was stunned that she even knew what a FIAT is.

She is very smart.... she knows more about cars than she lets on... We must be weary of this one... She watches on the forum but never talks. :fencelook:

PS. I see you ///silverwolf

From experience...dont use FIAT bolts...they tend to snap under WOT....use TATA bolts. Much stronger!!

Well I just used Fiat shims under my M5's camlobes, so don't dismiss the Italians just yet based on your experiences with Magneti Marelli
