It's the right gasket. It's for the timing chain cover.

We got the sump, raised head gasket and top cover gaskets, seals. everything... Every single gasket, seal and O-ring on this engine is being replaced.

So Crash delivered the gaskets which are manufactured from unobtainium given their price.

Had a good look at them and have decided that I will mount them as they are too expensive to hide in an engine therefore I am waiting for MIDAS to open in the morning so that I can buy 2Kg of silicone sealant to put the timing cover on.

Stay tuned for bottom end pics as soon as I finish a job from hell for a buddy.

(Buddy you know who you are) :fencelook:

Thank you Chris and Peter.

I've just read the whole thread and well done very well done.

Its been a long time since I've been on the Fanatics site. And well let me just say what a nice way to come back. Its very refreshing to read and see that two people are so passionate about a car and really have pride it the work being done.

Keep up the good work, enjoy the break you deserve it.

:bravo:

Here is the latest video from last weeks bottom end install.

The video was shot with a very shallow depth of field. Thus, it is recommended to watch the video in the highest quality you can to get the sharpest image. Lots of focus pulling required. I'm a little rust....

[video=youtube]

Mods, can we update Title of the thread to - New video on page 11.

Thanks. :thumbs:
