Are we going to try and make a plan for their car? Rolf said the clutch is giving trouble. Is that it or are there other issues? We need an idea so we know more or less what it could cost to fix. It can't be to expensive to fix/replace an old jetta's clutch, can it? Oh and what year is it?

Gathering some funds to get it fixed will be more doable than finding someone willing to donate an entire car.

Thoughts?

I am a bit confused:flyfun:...who is actually planning this...if we need to sort out everything, shouldn't there be one point of contact to confirm donations and pledges so that things don't get mixed up..:thumbs:

May I suggest we "collect" all monetary donations and hand a cheque over at the braai :idea:

If that is agreed on I have a "virgin" FNB account that could be used for that purpose.
