I saw Bugger and MrsBugger last night. We’ve decided to stay with the idea of supporting the Richwood home.

The suggestions we have is that every Fanatic (that’s coming on the run) buys and brings a pack of Wors and rolls, and an item/s from the list below….. We will braai for them and us….. For this braai-ing idea to work we need to take portable braai’s with us, like a skottle. Just a braai grid and charcoal wont work because they wont have enough (if any) braai spots for us.

Here is their list:

1. Food
2.Toiletries
3.Detergents
4. 2 Large stainless steel cooking pots
5. Urn
6. Ironing board
7.Crockery-dinner plates,porridge bowls,coffee mugs,
8. Sharp cutting knives
9. Food Blender
10. Fruit Liquidiser
11. Bath Towels,Drying up dish towels
12. Sewing machine
13. Deep Freezer
14. Industrial Washing Machine
15. Large Microwave Oven
16. Electric keyboard
17. Camera Cell Phone x2
18. BABY Nappies (12months)
19. BABY NAN Formula No2
20. BABY Clothes 12 months (girl)
21. Play pen for BABY
22. Reliable CAR/BAKKIE
23. Scooter to use for fund raising
24. College Fees for two 17 year old boys who want to study at North Link College next year for motor mechanics
25. Financial monthly contributions towards our Rent, Water, Electricity
26. Large Home/Land/Building needed for our Safe/Care Home
27. FOOD (meat, salads, puddings, etc...) For our Christmas Lunch

Whose coming?.....
1) Carbon
2) Promotec
3) Sandra
4) Bugger

So I think that the purchasing of a vehicle and a scooter may,at this stage,be beyond our reach. However, that doesn't stop us from assisting them in doing some fundraising in getting those two items. If everyone that will be attending can pick an item, put your name next to it on the list, then we know what we are looking at and we don't replicate things. It's getting to that time of the year, and I know that we're all looking forward to our Christmas holidays and buying pressies and bonuses, but we have a great opportunity to make a little bit of a difference here, and so I think we should show that spirit to others.

Is the list in any order of need?

I don't think it's in a certain order. Just a plain list of what they want

I've got SMG to get involved with this event. Just like we did with Auto Atlantic 3 years ago.

SMG is also gonna send out an Emailer to their database to get them involved as well.

....... we might move the meeting/starting point to SMG instead of McD's. Its not confirmed yet, once it is I will ask the Moderators to send out a mass PM.

Rolf, please ask her to send you info that she would like mentioned about the Home, that I can pass onto SMG to maybe put in their Emailer.

Sorry I've not focused much on this over the weekend. I've been busy trying to get the 318 ready to be used as a daily again after the flooding. :(
