Hi all

Sincere apologies that I've not been here to organise this, however you all seem to have it all in place. :)
I've contacted Charly's Bakery (thanks Carbon and Bugger for the suggestion) to find out if they will donate or give us a reduced price on a cake to raffle at Wings and Wheels - that will create great publicity for us and allow us to raise more funds. I will feedback as soon as I hear from them.
I used to do work for P&G (Pampers) so going to try find out if my contacts are still there to see if they will donate nappies. I suspect I will get the same response as we did from PnP, but you never know.
Please can we start getting an idea of what you will be bringing, and who will be coming.
If there's anything else you need from me, please give me a shout.

Let's do this Fanatics

We gonna need Wors/chops for us Fanatics as well and SMG's clients.... I think the Fanatics and SMG's clients should bring their own wors/chops, instead of adding it to the 27, cos we dont know how many of us/clients are going

Hi guys,

I'm in CT too and my Mrs and I would love to help out.
It's a bit difficult to understand what's needed by the House and what Fanatics should provide. Could some kind hearted person compile a fresh list of Fanatics going, Stuff already pledged and Stuff outstanding.
Again, we would love to help out and I don't want to be the guy bringing 5000 batteries, you know!

Thanks and looking forward to meeting you all.

I agree, it will be difficult to know whose coming and whose bringing what. The list is in a few posts on this thread.

I think the fanatics must post what they want to bring that doesnt have a name next to it. I will edit the list (in the first post, when I update it later) and put the names next to the item/s. For example see below:

1. Food
2.Toiletries
3.Detergents (Joe Smith)
4. 2 Large stainless steel cooking pots
5. Urn
6. Ironing board

Had the meeting with SMG…. They gonna send out an Emailer next week to their 1500+ database. They gonna add the Wish list in the Emailer……… I’ve asked them to sponsor the food for the Christmas Lunch that the Home wants (No 27 in the list)……. They also gonna bring their half drum braai (that’s 2 now that we can use)…..… They suggested that we start the drive from SMG instead of McD’s, and to do a nice detour route on the way to the Home, instead of after visiting the Home.

I will update the main post in this Thread

Starting off at SMG will be beneficial for the run

Natascha is in contact with the German Bakery in Milnerton and by the looks of it they will sponsor the breads and rolls for the braai :inlove:

As far as I can see, the two lunch and dinner events are taken care of so we need to concentrate on the wish list!!!
