All I can say is you are a brave man, and a very lucky one. That car looks absolutely beautiful, and when it arrives it will be even more delicious after all the work that's being done to it. Well done!!! :bravo::praise:

Uk roads.salt and 635s do not mix. I gather that rust free 635s are almost unheard of in the uk. Sterkte.

Nah mate, they're there. Wrapped in heated garages! I missed a '89 Highline in Red/Black, factory manual, one of 17 made, about 4 left in the world! It was a show queen, went for £4000, I missed it because I was getting drunk in the mountains of Laos!!! gutted.

the BigCoupe guys have a saying; Looking at a Shark is the same as buying one.

I'm not giving up, I WILL have a perfect Shark ;)

Hahahahaha!!!! Too true mate :)

I am applying for import permits for myself for car parts, will be able to ring in quality exhausts and suspension components for E24, E28, E30, E34 etc. at some point for decent money. Watch this space....

Right, so head off and waterways repaired, new cam followers and Alpina B10 cam to go in!

A couple of pics of the prepared block, and the head having its valves refitted after the machine work. Also cut the valves back in by hand, to get the best compression possible out of the old girl.

Once the cam has been done it will be a full stainless exhaust including headers and a chip to suit. Finally the respray and shipped to Durban!!
