Yesterday the stealers FINALLY supplied me with the correct thermostat AND viscous fan, aircon belt, and passenger side lower control-arm. Fit everything last night, but as my mech refilled with coolant we noticed some leakage...:argh:
He disconnected the hoses again and pulled of the thermostat housing and on close inspection theres a hairline crack from where the bolts screw in. This is a NEW OEM housing that I fit I mid July?? How can this be? Is not possible to crack this housing by over-tightening the bolts when putting it back? The car had absolutely no leakage what so ever before we started the job...I find it hard to believe that the part is defective...
