Wtf did you get that from? I sell ebc stuff, and the ebc rear discs are over R3k alone. Pads around R900 for the rear.

mo_s said:I always used Ferodo pads on my e36, didn rely like ATE when I used cos they were squeaky and gave off an odd smell and I enjoy driving with my windows down. But generally buy Ferodo Platinums and apply copper slip when installing. The Ferodo Ceramics are also pretty good, they're softer so easier on the disk.
With disks I usually bought BMW disks but last brake change I got hold of Alfa and they quite nice.

All BMW mechanics I spoke to also said ATE is what BMW use as OEM, however I got a set of front brake pads from BMW & don't see no ATE signs or badges on it :thinking:

ATE are OEM suppliers for many manufacturers
