Pierburg Fuel Pump for my 540?

Good day DIY guru's,

As the subject line states I'm in need to replace my fuel pump for the 40.

Not wanting to pay R5700:flyfun: to the stealers I contacted Masterparts who stock a Pierburg branded pump for R995.

Has anybody had any experaince with this brand?:fencelook:

I tried Diesel Electric Parow for a Bosch pump but they claim not to have it listed:nonono:

Pierberg is the OEM VW for the citi golf fuel pump. I highly trust it!!
It comes from Germany.

Actually did the maths would cheaper to buy a M5 & as a bounus I would get the better brakes, 6 speed, cooler interior LSD ECT.

but on a serious note, can you not just get a walbro or Bosch044 to do the job?
