so got my exhaust done the other day, Wednesday, and also added a K&N flat filter to my car,
here's a pic of it sans exhaust
will take a vid of the sound sometime, was too noisy in the dyno room with the fan so would make for a bad vid
really like the sound of the car now, got a nice deep sound (no drone) under 4k rpm then after that to redline its got a nice gruff scream as a 3l n/a straight 6 should,
sounds very slightly M3 like close to redline, just less rasp and more clear
overall very happy with the sound
my exhaust guy was worried about loosing torque so he went with a 50mm section from the viper branches to the 57mm mid section, then 57mm through to the back (bought the mid and rear section from moranoraxis) 3 boxes in the system,
sounds stock at cruising, idle, then comes alive the more you push,
got quite a bass'y note under 3k rpm
after doing the system theres probably a few things i would like to change in the future, but that will wait for now,
has really ugly tips on atm to:thumbdo:
the car feels good, no huge noticeable difference in power, just basically better throttle response, slight power and torque increase, just more fun i guess, i think software will compliment it well,
as seen in the dyno graphs below,
i have a weird dip in torque and slightly in power around the 4k rpm range, hope to smoothen that out similar to the stock cure with some tuning,
first run made 165kw
also the first run i got a low oil pressure light for some reason so the power sort of "cut" there,
but basically it is similar to my first dyno run with 180kw peak power and torque at around 307nm+- torque
overall happy more then anything for the sound and smile on my face:rollsmile:
will tweak and play to sort out the power delivery and smoothen it etc
also getting this soon for my car:rollsmile:
super stoked
