new Engen Dynamic Diesel

Hi guys, have anyone tried the new Engen Dynamic Diesel yet?

I've read that there are guys that sees good gains with the new Primax petrol but couldn't find any reviews on the new diesel?

I am a big V-power diesel fan but will move over if the new Engen gives better performance and fuel consumption.

Iv been using it for a while now
i do think i got a dodgy batch this time though

I prefer it over the Vpower

Filled the car yesterday with the new Engen diesel, I've done about 40km with it in the car, still early days as the car is only now starting to adapt to the new fuel but so far so good. I might be onto something here.

I'm not sure if this is very new from Engen, but I do recall getting very good economy when using Engen 50ppm. Better in the context of providing more mileage than Sasol 50ppm.
:=):

As of end of last year they have a new formula with more cleaning agents and and and , it was changed with the intro of the Primax Petrol.

read on the ST forum about the new primax petrol and the good results it gave so will be using the new diesel with the hope that I also get good results.

I normally fill up with Shell 50ppm, and use Engen in the E39, filled the new engine primax petrol last week and could feel a difference as opposed to the previous engine fill up

On Engen 50ppm I'm getting roughly 700km to 750km to a tank, stop/start and highways combined in the E39. Comparison S1NGH?

get between 750km and 960km on a 80 liter tank:rollsmile:

wife gets roughly 9.5km on a liter around town and on the open road goes up to 12km on a liter, and the wife has a heavy foot

I haven't taken mine for a long enough trip yet. On my way to PTA (R21) the consumption came down to 6.9L/100km, which isn't too bad for the size of vehicle.

December I'm planning a trip down to Mossel Bay so will keep you guys posted on that re consumption

Should come down dramatically, on c/control and all, yes?

The E39 only comes out the garage 3 times a week and does on average 50km per a trip. I usually fill up when the needle hits 30 liters, have run it down to 15 liters a few times, with Shell I had done 400kms with the fuel gauge at 15liters and the OBC displaying 170km to empty. With Engen I did 460kms with the fuel gauge run down to 15liters and the OBC displaying 199km to empty.

Both fills were to one "click", routes travelled were the same and driving style medium to hard.

Best Diesel used in the 320d's and Landy was Shell and Sasol

Have not tried the new diesel. Is there a price difference from the standard diesel?
