Awesome car looks great But I would have went 30 not 28.
28 more than enough power bud. The 30 has too much lag and this will involve opening motor to make everything rev much higher.

Thanks bud!:ty:

Sure man! We must! I am planning a trip to visit Andy over a weekend. We must plan some rolling runs with some strong cars up there.

And with the public holiday in place, I took advantage of it and made arrangements to take my R through...

My one buddy drove behind me with my daily so I could leave my R with Malcolm at VAG Motorsport.

Big thank you to Malcolm for opening up on a public holiday and letting me drop the car. Being self employed, it's not always easy to make trips for personal stuff.

Upon arrival, I witnessed Malcolm's shop for the first time. Very clean, professionally done and best of all safe. First thing to give one a bit of confidence with entrusting your pride and joy on a build like this.

And luckily, I even got to to look and touch the goodies going into my R. Seeing as once they are all fitted you will never see them.

First impressions of the APR BT kit. This kit is phenomenally well built. Everything is there from gaskets to seals to shields and bolts/nuts. Very well made up kit. The feed lines are of extreme high quality!

Couldn't get enough of this cast manifold. Just had to take another snap. Also very confident there won't be leaks and issues around this section as it's not a welded setup.

And I took a peak at my Low Pressure Fuel Pump kit from APR. It's basically an Auxilliary 2nd pump that is installed and it runs off a controller that gets mounted in front. The other nice part of this kit is because it runs on the fuel line, it has a section that you can disconnect and drain all your fuel out. Leaving you with the option of filling your tank with either 20L of pump/OB1 or race fuel.

Well, that's it for now. More pics will be uploaded as I requested by Malcolm while they strip and do the build.

Some updates...

Another thanks to Malcolm for taking pics and updating me daily. He phones me to tell me they are gonna do this or have done that.

First up, he took my car to the closest dyno there which is an AWD dyno. Car was run twice and it was datalogged to check for any issues.

This is flywheel figures and on the 95 program with no additives or WMI. Dyno could be reading a tad high as the APR 2+ 95 file is rated around 355BHP, but I'm not concerned about that. Curves are good. Logs confirmed good and the same dyno will be re used to measure the gain. I requested a before of my pump file 95 program. Basically how my car runs as a daily as I want to run the Stage 3 in the same program as a daily.

With everything in check with no issues, Malcolm took the car back to his shop for the build.

Malcolm and his team have also assembled the turbo, manifold and feed lines together.

Saw your car at VAG motorsport on Tuesday. Really is exceptional, no expense spared as MJP put it. Awesome build!

Sure it's gonna break some records.

Looking forward to see how strong this car becomes, it was already an M killer before...

Thanks Andy! Need to plan a trip up to JHB when my car is done and we organise some friendly rolling runs with your mates.

Yup, H&R Springs - however still looks like an OEM ride height. :bin:

Don't stress. It will come down more. Wait a month or so. I noticed that when I first fitted H&Rs.

But I wanted to go lower later on and that meant coilovers like I now have

And some more updated pics again courtesy of Malcolm and his team.

Pic comparison of the two turbos were done. On the left, the bigger GTX turbo with compact design manifold compared to the OEM K04 with manifold.

GTX Turbo kit fitted. I have not seen a more OEM fitting kit than this one.

Miscellaneous parts that come with the kit have been fitted as well. The piping all lines up and a great job has been done with the installation.
