Will give u 5sec lead :=):

Will give you a 5 year lead and see if the E90 ages as gracefully as the E46. Or shall we see if your engine can reach 300 000 KM as easily as most 330i's do ... :blab:

Thanks for all the comments guys. Here are some more pics of the intake:

I would reckon this is the bit that makes this intake better than the stock one.

Wanted to take pics of the inside as well but one of the clips used to open it is right next to the one radiator hose, so I will probably do that when the car has cooled down a bit.

To the e90 6-pot guys, it would seem (from the BMW performance brochure) that there is indeed a performance intake for your cars as well, though I can't really comment on where to get one. Best bet would be to go to the dealers, who knows maybe they are reasonably priced.

Very very nice Sank!
Looks awesome and must sound wicked too :=):

Was it 3k including shipping from the states?
Were there duties to pay, insurance?

I wonder if they got one for my car?

Thanks man

Yup the 3k included shipping and duties (the place I used insure all items above a certain value and it was sent by priority mail)

According to the BMW performance brochure you can get a performance intake for all the 6-cylinder 1's and 3's. Had a quick look, this one is for the 128i:

But is seems that the prices for the e8x's and e9x's are bit steeper.

Thanks for all the comments guys, appreciate it :)

Yup the e90 one does also look good, but from what I have seen it seems to be pretty expensive :(. From my quick look it seems that modbargains sells it, maybe try and organise a group buy to try and get the prices down (And try contacting the guys at rennzport first to see it they could possibly get it for you).

@moranor: Cool, thanks, that is good to know :)

I have been trying something out on my car.

I got myself a set of dark side-markers (ordered a while back)
DSCN2078.jpg

The idea with these is that they will be a better match to the front corners that have the black outline (goes with the headlight shrouds) than the standard side-markers that are lighter.
Here are the standard ones:

This is what the dark one looks like fitted:

Here is the black outline around the corner and the shroud I am talking off:

Still need to see what they look like in daylight, will try and post pics as well. So what do you guys think?
