Right so today I had a bit of a photoshoot of a different kind of my car, there pics were taken (in a very loose sense of the work taken ) with a infrared camera. So the camera "sees" the temperature radiated from objects. (When you hold your hand close to a heat source and you feel the heat from the object on your hand, the camera sees this heat, its just a lot more sensitive than you hand )
(In the pics lighter colours are higher temperatures and darker are lower temperatures)
