Okay... So my baby had a 3 day stay over at JSN to sort out a few odds and ends.
New software loaded and my o my... She feels tight again, hit 6250ish and I could hear like a double shift on the box and nothing but jet noise as the exhaust valve opens up.. Very interesting too that I can now hear induction noise with window down, previously I never heard it... The DV is also more predominant now when letting off the boost..

This is BMW OEM software that they updated, not a PPK or tune for power/torque etc.. But it changes the way the car reacts and so forth, almost everything from the Wastegate to the Exhaust is controlled via the ECU nowadays so getting the latest software always helps! :=):
Must have updated the gearbox software too as I can feel a difference, seems to shift quicker and revs up.

Early morning run... No more rattles from the EWG, outside temp was 6 degrees and engine sounded so sweet on cold start.
Nice run with the cab, oil temps rose to above 70 degrees withing 1 minute and hit peak operating temp of 120 degrees in about 12 minutes after hitting the hiway.
Really am pleased with how the cab is running again :cartel:

Little update.. Front bumper was damaged(scraped nothing major).. So it has been resprayed and polished by BMW and she is looking the business again!!
Also.. Always knew my car was strong.. Very pleased with a stock dyno of 222.4kw / 413nm on the rear wheels :rollsmile: so I think I'm correct in stating that converted to engine power she is putting out about the same as the PPK version..

O yes and the suspension and wheels got a full scrub down recently too!!

Car is looking really Good bud. Time for an acs drop. Also really strong numbers for stock.

Still thinking what to change next, for now I am still more than pleased with the little mods :coolShake: I would love to drop the car, but most driveways will not be forgiving to me, I am too scared to drop it.

Snapped this morning in the Kalahari
raise:She blew a rear tyre during the week.. Inner thread came off... Drove the RFT 220km as stuffed as it was, technology saved my life again! 2 new rears went on yesterday morning so managed to get the car sorted before I left for the vast open plains... Glad I did :=):

Ages since I posted... My baby has been for some surgery.. Spent 3 days in the workshop @Alberante.
Oil pump leak, coolant leak, crackling HK speaker was the 3 major items to sort out. So they have done a full major service too, spark plugs, oil, coolant, filters and they have loaded the latest software on the car too....
Car is going well again, pulling strong.. But the gearshift does not feel as brutally aggressive anymore under Sport+ feels a bit smoother. I suppose it's the latest gearbox software from ZF.. Anyone have the latest software on the N55/B58? Are your shifts smooth or aggressive?
Still.. No complaints.. Love my 335i as my daily :coolShake:raise:
