Did you go back in time and buy a new E30 and bring it to the future?
Cleanest one seen!

Thank you! This car was a barnfind. It has got 235000km on the clock which were done in the first twelve years of its life. It has been parked undriven since 2002. I bought it from it's original owner with full history including the original purchase invoice even the cataloque out of which you could choose the colours, seats and all optional extras with their prices. I also have the manual for the radio

Absolutely stunning. I had the 318i and absolutely adored it but always felt a little bit short changed because I never got a 6 cylinder :)

Wow wow so you two of these babies?
Clean and original, keep them that way
Thank you maleven-GP.
In my opinion E30s are perfect as they came from the factory. Anything you change or modify spoils it.
So my cars will remain stock standard also for collectors value.

Just out of interest.

A car that has been standing from 2002, + 13 years standing time.

have you done any checks prior to starting it? how was the condition of the oil? How did it sound when you started it?

Did you check the radiator pipes and the radiator itself? no rust?

I always wonder if you decide to park a car off, how do you go about preserving the it?

Thanks!

You can be rest assured that Alex took all the precautionary measures before he started or drove it.

For any other hiccups, refer to procedure: Rev it in the limiter until it sorted itself:roflol:
It is THE cleanest e30 I know.:clapper:

Before starting the car I had to fit a new battery and changed the oil and filter.
I cranked the engine with the coil disconnected for it to get oil pressure and circulate through the engine, to avoid a dry start.
Luckily the water had antifreeze added so there wasn't any rust in the system.
The next day I had the cambelt, tensioner and clutch slave cylinder that was leaking replaced
I also replaced the brake fluid and antifreeze.
As it was standing for 13 years the tyres had flat spots and started perishing, so I fitted four new Michelins

You would get shot for saying that it was revved in the limiter:cartel::roflol:
