Just out of interest.
A car that has been standing from 2002, + 13 years standing time.
have you done any checks prior to starting it? how was the condition of the oil? How did it sound when you started it?
Did you check the radiator pipes and the radiator itself? no rust?
I always wonder if you decide to park a car off, how do you go about preserving the it?
Thanks!
Before starting the car I had to fit a new battery and changed the oil and filter.
I cranked the engine with the coil disconnected for it to get oil pressure and circulate through the engine, to avoid a dry start.
Luckily the water had antifreeze added so there wasn't any rust in the system.
The next day I had the cambelt, tensioner and clutch slave cylinder that was leaking replaced
I also replaced the brake fluid and antifreeze.
As it was standing for 13 years the tyres had flat spots and started perishing, so I fitted four new Michelins

You can be rest assured that Alex took all the precautionary measures before he started or drove it.
For any other hiccups, refer to procedure: Rev it in the limiter until it sorted itself:roflol:
It is THE cleanest e30 I know.:clapper:
You would get shot for saying that it was revved in the limiter:cartel::roflol:
