Hey guys, just a bit of a teaser, after Cars and Coffee on Saturday night A friend and I decided to do a bit of testing which involved my 330d and a Golf 6 Edition 35 DSG (Completely stock) and we were both shocked at the outcome of my 5min mod, for now that’s all the info I’m giving away. More testing to be done at a later stage to confirm that my excitement was not just a bit of luck.

Howzit bud not really. My cars power is cute compared to the other 330d’s on the forum Lol. My 5 minute mod involved a plug and play change but I will explain more later, I don’t want to give anything away right now. All I am saying is that software tuning will be more effective than what I am doing but I am afraid of the auto box issues with the E46 which is why I am not going extreme.

Hiiiiiii Alll

I finally managed to get some time to dyno the car again after the 5min mod that I did the last time. Below are the comparisons from the 1st dyno and yesterday’s dyno.

The first is the Ac Schnitzer chip

The second is a dual map chip which a have installed.

The First map with a lower power figure is the economy map which is default every time you start the car with the second map being a performance map that is only active when you activate it with a remote. However the awesomeness of this all is that on a Monday to Sunday drive the car see’s absolutely no strain on the turbo or the gearbox basically stock torque and power figues on economy, and if some boy racer happens to challenge you all you have to do is press a single button to leave him with a bruised ego and a cloud of black smoke.

Hey Nikhil, I understand the concept of the dual map. Does the graph show the different maps? if so, the variance looks very small.
edit: damn internet didnt actually load your second graph...:flyfun:

faark, now thats a big difference, and that torque, thats just a few Nm lower than our e90's and e60's. have not seen another E46 330d dyno to know whether all e46's have a torque like that or not, but wow.

What time were you there last night? i got there around 8:30 and left around 9:15
