While you at it and have the space to work, change out that short rubber water hose under the water temp sensors, I don't think its supposed to be bulged like that.


Also, the first time I have seen a bottle bracket painted body colour.

That is the booster vacuum line and by all accounts that yellow bracket looks factory finished.........
Normally see them painted black so that is unusual

Yeah all the ones I've seen have been black.

You are absolutely correct however what Warren was referring to is the "bloated part" towards the thicker end to the water pump.

I actually went and had a look at it.
I think the picture over exaggerates the change in diameter and makes it look blown up.
The hose is firm and has not swelled.
The thick side is exactly the diameter of the inner pipe.

Enough for 130 vanos seal kits for the s54 and that does not include the spares we bought from StephenT or the spares that are coming from Cape Town or the powder coating or the injector overhaul.
All together it would amount to 300 seal kits.
