Got it:thumbs:

Would love to see a log from you with the mix but without meth. And another log with meth but wihout the mix. I think it may make the use of meth redundant...just spray water :=):

Anyway, still early days. Will test over the weekend if weather permits.

Bud to do these logs is frustrating with our roads and traffic but E95 mix I don't think will come close to meth?
Will do some proper logs as per previous message.

I am very lucky. I am close to two stretches of public roads which are extremely quiet on Sundays after 5pm. So able to do a decent log sprint.

From 2000rpms to 7000rpms in third gear on map 5 or my chosen map is dispatched in seconds...

Strapping down the laptop remains a challenge. :=):

I think the 95 mix may replace the use of meth.

NEVER!!!
Meth is BOSS!!!
E95 with 95 pump mix with additive on 60 Map 3 wagon in 3rd gear @2000 rpm breaks traction all the way to limiter bud. I will let you know what E95 Race gas 98 mix on 75-80 additive Map 3 does, yohyoh it is going to be a machine especially with new G5.
Meth is BOSS!!!
JB4 G5 !!!
Car will make 400HP+ on wheels now as it is. Will prove it with dyno sheet shortly.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know your personal experiences running Map 8 (No Turbos). Can it harm the car in any way with prolonged use? My wife drives the car about 25km round trip Monday to Friday to work and back. If there is a significant reduction in fuel consumption maybe running map 8 wouldn't be bad idea. (if its does no harm)

On a side note, I can't wait to get my JB4. Should be here by the weekend.:joy::joy:

Nothing wrong with that. But map 8 requires a special start up and shut down procedure which is not advisable for novices. There is a fuel saving but the car will perform worse than a 320...:=):

You can put the car on Map 0 (which puts the car on the complete stock/standard map)

Or you can put it on map 4 (Its is also a complete stock map but will give the wife full canbus functionality such as the steering wheel features etc.)

Tried map 8 on the way to Knysna Hill climb from Pretoria and if you are not like me and can control the urge for speed at 120 it is efficient but other than that it was heavier on fuel as the motor has no power and your throttle response is heavier. Map 3 the rest of the way down......

i would think the fuel consumption would be worse under most circumstances because the whole engine is built for the increased air flow the turbos can bring so wont be efficient without the turbos...

Getting grip at tarlton is tricky and besides i don't drag my car so i'll let some with more track knowledge help you out there.I got serious traction issues so i limit first on 11 psi and second on 13 psi. Are you going with slicks?

JB4 (N54) 7/22 Firmware Changes

1) Made minor adjustment to throttle behavior at lower boost targets
2) Adjusted meth to block meth flow below 3mph for dragstrip launching purposes.
3) Added PID logic to improve low RPM spool speed for higher boost targets.

JB4 N54 Firmware: 7/22
