Well done. We expect the JB to outperform other x35 tunes...not even a debate anymore. PM me your settings. We running the same settings but i am not happy with my settings at redline. I can only learn from yours.

And congrats on the dyno result.

On the N55 front I clocked 190km/h this past Sunday. 5 runs were between 12.04 - 12.1 (16psi) that's how consistent the tune is. Mayb I should get the wife to drive these days and listen to the beautiful sound from the side line. I was lucky to get one log before the official took the notebook away..Lol

T, says that there is still another 3km/h to be gained. Problem is to get 60ft times lower, there is so much more power and I assume torque aswell at the bottom end that you can't even rev pass 3000rpm on first gear on street tyres. By the way on street tyres, race fuel, no LC and on Map 0, I clocked 12.75@180km/h.

Congrats. You having great fun with the car.
One of the reasons you enjoying the baby and not having issues is you log regularly and you stick to what works. When the guys change things all the time for no apparent reason and not logging to see improvement, its then when they start messing around.

Fortunately, the fanatics that visit this support page know better :=):

Yes, you correct about that. The Jb updates are pretty much 100%, so many times I loaded the latest firmware just a day before the event and still managed to lower times. No messing around, u just need the correct fuel a couple of logs and u good to go.

I wish I had a good dyno locally so that I could give you guys a reading, I assume that it's around 285wkw's.

BMW Car Club Gauteng Excede at KAR dyno day was awesome and my wagon took 1st Place out of all the 135i and 335i.

385Hp and 734nm with no meth as i never activated it:thumbs:

Still can get more out since i only adapted 5min before run and that G5 board needs alot more settings inputed than G4. So will keep posted on future figures when i get these setting spot on.

Savspeed took overall with Sergoi's wagon pulling a 622Hp with boost leak that creaped in.:praise:

:=):

Very very impressive, well done man! :praise::praise: What map did you dyno on?

Let me know if i can help. Just remember there is no meth failsafe with map 6 if you use the JB (fsb).
Map 3 is the dedicated meth map. Switch to map 3 and set the additive to 45 and do a datalog to check AFRs

With 104 octane could the additive setting not be pushed up more?

Yes. The more power mods and higher octane fuel you can increase setting. Basically you want harder boost if you have the octane and mods to compliment it. You can up the additive to 50 or 60. But 45 is a good place to do a datalog and take it from there.

FBO, DP, CP, decat, intake and full exhaust on Map 3 ,98 race gas, 50/50 meth water mix ,additive on 75 for dyno and take it down to 40-50 additive road use. I just use 75 as I almost never drive on the road, but when I do car is always adapted.

Thanks Twinz, great thread and very informative.

I have a few questions regarding the JB4:
Any reported incidents of mp voids due to JB4? (assuming it was removed prior to services)
What can I expect to pay?
G5 vs G4, does the G5 provide more gains, or it is just a better customisable solution (for advanced users)?
How long does it take an experienced user to remove it?

Seriously considering getting the JB4 :=):

1. We have not had reports of MPs being voided due to the JB4. If there are...we do not know of it. Like all tunes you run the risk of losing MP...no way around that.

2. The G5 are for those that are running big mods such as bigger turbos and nitrous. But users with water/meth will find the G5 with more gains and tuning options. For those running FBO the G4 is more than enough. Upgrading to the G5 will not net you any gains above the G4. Its really only for big mod users.

3. I take about 45 min to install and remove purely because i need to look twice with reading glasses :=):
But there is no need to rush the intall or removal since you working in the dme area.

4. Price is via PM because we bound by exchange fluctuations.

E95 and 95 pump gas is the best fuel mix HP that I have tested to date with G5 in my wagon. AWESOME POWER and cheap as well. 5 liters E95 with 15 liters 95 pump fuel works better than pump plus booster for sure and is cheaper and will have the data to prove this. Thanks Renzzport for all your assistance and great service in making my experience so awesome!!!

Edz please PM me more info. Rennzport stock the 95/e5 in 25 Liter drums. I personally have not had time to run tests. We will have the e85 in stock in the next month. Please feedback is appreciated. Do you have a spec sheet of the 95 they supplied you with?

We hoping to stock the same with Moranor@axis for the KZN guys.
