Today I spent R1700:argh: on my car to fix a leaking manifold and cracked downpipe.
The work they did was remove the exhaust manifold(had it skimmed), replace the gasket and fab a new downpipe. I just felt that it needed to be done. Car sounds much better now. Still want to fix an issue with my front silencer, but it will need to wait till the end of next month.
I wasn't planning on spending that much but I think it was worth it. I think I should focus on a major job like this every month. My E36 316i has been steadily falling apart the past few months and needed urgent att.
