Brilliant work!
Is that a brand new ZHP I see there?
And is that gear boot Alcantara?

Love seeing new stuff going in :inlove: So clean and shiny.
:ty:

Yup. My exhaust box rubbers were dead too. Also had them replaced. Glad to see the car is getting the needed attention. Nice work guys.

I'd consider using something else, I know it works really well but it is a known carcinogen. A friend of mine died of leukaemia and they traced it back to benzene in the factory he worked in.

That prop shaft, damn I am angry for your part... :yuck:

Further great attention to detail by all people working on the car, great job!

New rubber mounts.

Old ones off.

This one had the steel re-enforcement installed the wrong way round, metal on metal vibrations and the mounting boolt/nut was loose.

Strip the re-enforcements off the old ones, karcher clean and refit to new rubbers.

Fitted and ready to go. go

But before I refit I saw some flashes and burrs from the metal tube cutting that replaces the cats, these unnessesary restrictions are due to lazy exhaust shop guys.

The fix.

Broken mounting tab so I fitted a large washer for more mounting surface area.

When I removed the 3bolt brace underneath I noticed the centre bolt wasn't the right one, not only that but it was forced to work, damaging the threads in the rear subframe. The wrong bolt being M10 1.75 and the right bolt being M10 1.5 thread.

The fix, M10 1.5 thread tap.

Brand new bolt goes in easily.

Oil service.

Wrong tool marks on sump plug! Thankfully my 6mm allen tool went in with one or two light taps of the the hammer.

Demon dog overseas all fluid flushes.

Exhaust tips much closer to bumper now, closes spot is 6mm.

The oil and the shifter boot issue, LHD vs RHD.

She is finished and back with the happy owner, vibration issue he had is gone and he's liking the short shift for a bit of spirited driving. He says the car feels more solid now.

Thanks again for the work done and the extra effort and attention to detail Warren! it is much appreciated! The car is feeling awesome, slight vibrations are gone and as you have said the car feels more solid and smoother overall! Short shifter is sweet, takes a little bit of getting used to compared to stock but for spirited driving it works a treat!!

And it looks so awesome as well!!:joy:

Hell, we share/trade work so often its only fitting we share customer's threads, I didn't see a need to create a whole new thread just for my work on the car.
