Considering getting this for my F20 120d, got quoted R16K by Menlyn Pretoria and about R20K by Hatfield.

My dealer here in Vereeniging has already got the kit. Just waiting for sales to give him a VIN number. Price in the region of R19000.00.
They are going to fit then we will do a back to back datalogg to compare the two. (PPK vs STD)
Apparently if the results turn out well they will sell these of the shelf.

Keep us posted please. Im curious. Its alot of money but motorplan is important so it leaves us no choice but to fork out 20k. Lets see if the power is as they advertise

Some guys have, but for some reason they are not posting anymore?
I am trying to find out the lead time from ordering the kit (and paying (upfront)) to actually having the dealer call you to tell you it has arrived.

Thats very troublesome.

I think the upgrade was disappointing and not worth the money or they are so happy that they don't even bother to post their results. I'm sure we would all like to hear the experience after the performance upgrade on an F30 320d

Anybody out there :fencelook:

I know this is an old thread, but I had the power kit installed on my 320d F30 a week ago.

I must say firstly that I have not had a chance to dyno either before or after the installation so my perceived power increases are from my "butt dyno".

The kit was ordered when I purchased the vehicle (from Auto BMW Ermelo) and it took 3 weeks to arrive. I paid R16000 in total for the kit and installation, VAT etc. The installation took around 4 hours, including testing by the techies and check ups of various things I had asked them to have a look at.

The kit consisted of a new ECU unit, a new intercooler and a M Power kit badge. All the stock items were taken out and put in the boot.

The Power kit has definitely increased pedal response, as it is much more responsive (less of a lag) in the lower RPMs and when pulling off. Torque for me has also definitely increased as I've tested on roads that I travel frequently (with many hills) and the willingness to climb is fantastic!

Overtaking is a breeze and it is even more amazing now, how quickly I can break the speed limit without realising :tiptoe:

I'd love to take it for a dyno to see the results with the kit installed, but can't find anywhere close to where I live (Swaziland). Will have to do that one day when I'm up in Jhb or the likes.

Cheers.
