Do you feel any difference with the braces in place?
To be honest yes, but remember I did it together with all the other suspension stuff so everything felt stiffer.

@osiris[/url] are you serious bud?

If the timing is right and I have the bucks I may actually buy the car back from you. It was a stupid decision for me to sell it.

I Should have kept it as my second car. Clocking mileage on my Z4 makes me very sad.

Please post the difference after you fit the catless headers, Curious to know on the sound, Not so much the performance - The gains are minimal

So I got a message from a buddy who works at our local Toyota dealership and he might have the spec I need *want* in a bakkie...

What would you guys think I can get for the 330i, keeping in mind the Bilstein coilovers, new Powerflex bushes, end links etc I replaced as well as parts I have that still needs to be fitted such as the following;

Powerflex rear adjustable cambers arms,
Cat less headers,
Powerflex rear bushes,
OEM valve cover gasket,
OEM sump gasket,
OEM oil housing gasket and a few other bits and bobs..

R1.2mil or is my valuations a bit conservative?

I bought 2x of these in my life.
1x @ 135k and I had to spend extra on it. (thermostat stuck open ect)
1x @ 75k and I had to spend another 20k on it before I could even drive it back home.

With the history in this thread alone, I can see it go for 95k. Very reasonable imho. Install the extras (assuming you diy it?) and I could see it go for 100k easy. Its in a better condition than the one I bought at 135k.

All the parts that will need fitting will be sent to a workshop. Not that confident in installing the gaskets etc..

Small update,

Finally got time to do the following ( thanks my brother Afzil, you deserve a beer!)

My parts ready for fitment including some sexy Powerflex Adjustable Camber arms that I had powdercoated white and PF trailing arm bushes.

In typical E46 fashion, the OFH was leaking, the sump was starting to sweat and the valve cover gasket was brittle.
The valve cover gasket actually so hard it was like thin plastic.

Also noted that some hoses and vacuum pipes where about to tear and one actually torn through! (All the gaskets, seals and hoses where replaced with OE BMW parts)

Water pump was changed along with the thermo and reservoir tank ( inc new cap)

Didn't get pics but some of the sump guard and trays underneath had bolts missing and these too was replaced with OE bolts.

On to some pics;

Internals look great for the age and mileage of the car, no skipped services on this car.:bravo:

Engine looks great inside. Really clean:thumbs:

Didnt it idle strangely with that broken vacuum hose?

My previous silver 330 became very erratic on idling, and it was because of that exact same hose that perished
