E46 Touring build

Wow, awesome changes!! Look forward to seeing this project get closer to done. I'm thinking of doing an auto to manual swap on my e38, so this is a thread to follow.

Things are progressing slowly on the touring build. Engine out.

Pedal box installed with clutch line and master cylinder, yes the dash and heater box needs to come out to install the clutch line.

OEM clear tail lights fitted.

Installed the Dynavin and found a brushed aluminium trim set too.

Engine bay gets a little cleaning.

Got a brand new clutch and flywheel for the 330i 6spd.

E36 M3 headers for the 330i engine. Other set is for my touring.

Rock Solid hot awesome process , could you not transform the 325i engine to a 330i one without changing the entire engine ? You did say its only a few differences ?

WOW!! love the project, i am also a proud owner of a 325i Touring. Just an idea, take off the front bumper and replace with motorsport bumper adn fogs (like the indv models) it looks meaner than M3 (look at my pic) also try and get the motorsport side bumpers. Awesome car!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could but I sold the 325i engine to Nicwes as I have a 330i engine waiting to be transplanted into the touring. The differences are pistons, rods, crank, intake cam, intake manifold, injectors, MAF, throttle body.
