So a colleague of mine just bought a e46 m3.
He came to me today telling me he wants to do a oil change and I refered him to this website.
After reading some reviews for Tune Tech he the decides to phone them.
So now he puts the phone on speaker and eventually a guy by the name of Romeo picks up.
Anyway he enquires about the cost of the oil change and he specifically told this guy(Romeo) that it must be the OEM Castrol TSW 10w60 oil.
This guy replied saying repeatedly "No the boss won't be happy with it, we only use Mobil1" and I am cracking myself up in the background.
My collegue tells him to call the boss, and he then transfers the call to a woman by the name of Diba, once again explaining now to her the situation.
Her response was like(In a kak tone, almost like you the customer know nothing about bmw) "You can't take your own steak to spur, so this is my workshop and you can't bring your own oil, and I am going to hang up."
My colleague and I was like WTF? Why is it that they won't use the OEM spec oil?
Their phone etiquette sucks for a reputable independant workshop! :thumbdo:
