Wish i could be of more help but all i know is that most guys i know that have taken their cars to DIDZ were not entirely happy with the results,Something about parts being taken out of customers vehicles and then replaced with old parts and stuff like that. But that also was a while back!!!!(Only what i heard)Other than that whenever you go past DIDZ theres like +- 30 cars outside alone!!!You be the Judge! In Lenz you could try Bosch in Anchorville. They OK!!!!

Hey guys,

I know Ive been raving about Pinnacle Auto in Secunda, and just had another great experience with them. When I bought my 320d M during the Quality Check to transfer the Motor Plan to my name they discovered that both left rims (18") are sligtly bent. They have subsequently offered to have tem repaired at no cost to me which I'm in the process of doing.

Then last week Pieter calls me to say that he knows that im in the market for a Bakkie as the 320d with the full sport package will not look so nice with a caravan behind it. 7:30pm he drives 60km to demo a 2007 2.5Dci d/c Navara with 61000km on the clock. Turns out he can arrange the finance and give me R4000 cash back. Guess what... Im now the proud owner of a Navara to.

Thanks again to Pieter, Sue-allen and all the great guys from Pinnacle. You guys truly make it a pleasure to own these special cars!

I agree, not everyone is happy with their work. My sister had to fork out R14k @ Didz bout 8yrs back on her E36 318is. Basically, the car overheated and they told her that they need to do the whole engine etc....Car stood there 6 months and she was not impressed at all. The engine was rowdy and the car didnt have much power when she took delivery. They wanted to charge her extra for checking whats the faults and the story goes on an on......Very bad experience.....

sad to hear all these thinfs about SAVSPEED.
i used to like their service back in the days when they started..
it seems like they dont care about customer relationships anymore.
just money.

suppose only way to know your car is taken care of is when you work your own car.

Hello,
Continental cars has been very good to me. Always very quick and efficient with the X5 and for the M3 only the parts department sees me but they are also a friendly bunch.
Regards,
Ali.

Another great day and another great story. :excited:
So my motorplan expired on 28 October 2010... :bawling:
Murphy's Law... my driver side window lifet mechanism breaks... :cursin:
it happened the morning of the 27th, so 1 more day left on motorplan, :censored: :banghead:
I phoned bmw Leo Haese Hatfield, spoke to Rene at bookings, she got me a place for the next morning,
and so there I was on the 28th, still being treated like royalty, as always.
Marlene was the lady of the day that helped me, and I don't know who worked on my baby,
but they got it done.
They also replaced all the pullies plus the belt, cause that anoying squeeky sound was still there,
after they replaced the alternator, so   to them.
I can tell you this, that as long as is possible, if they won't kill me on prises,
I would love to keep on taking my car there, even out of motorplan.
This dealership, Leo Haese Hatfield, is simply the best.

I took my fathers car for its first service to Smg durban and from the start had problems, first we booked the car in 3 weeks in advance then the day i take it in they say the car not booked in, i then got my father to fax over a page to them comfirming the booking 2 weeks earlier and they still were not happy, they told me to rebook the car for 1 and a half weeks time, i blew my top and explained that even after buy 7 brand new bmw's from them in 4 years total they could not help me.A guy inside told me to phone bmw pinetown so i did and explained the whole thing and i got a booking the very next day, so big ups to Pinetown Bm:thumbsup: and Smg i expect more from you guys.

Not a BMW dealership, but Performax tuning in Edenvale (Gauteng) does a brilliant job, i live on the west rand (40kms) away from them, but take both my cars there for services and whatever else is needed to be done on my vehicles.

I am really concerned when I read through this posts. I guess it all comes to what day of the week you take your car to a dealership. I had my car at a few dealerships till date and got poor service from some and some good service as well.
I use to take my car to Leo Haese Centurion, the service were bad, the attitude were bad etc etc. I then took my car to Leo Haese Hatfield where we got much better service, initially... It was only till much later that after my motorplan expired and when I started to work myself on the car that I found all the bad workmanship done by Leo Haese Centurion/Hatfield. Of course when I contacted the dealers I got ignored by one and brushed off by the other.

I wish the BMW dealers will read this threads and respond, maybe we can expect better service then..;)

Pinicle bmw in secunda is very good. I have never had any problems there in the past , I was reading a few pages back about a red head with a good rack. Pinnicle auto are also displaying a magic rack on sue-allen ........I can't say the same for EASTVIEW BMW in nelspruit they are a bunch of cowboys I took my e60 in about 3 months ago for the gearbox pan gasket done , new battery , wiper sensor repair. And my service . On arriving home I saw all the clips on the side pannel covering the battery were broke and one just shoved in its hole. After I saw this I checked the new battery and found the techs tools still in the battery compartment. . To cut a long story short I phoned bmw south africa and they came out to my house and re-fitted new clips in the boot . Then last week (its three months later) gearbox pan gasket leaking again , I went back and the service manager tried telling me it was sweating I told him bolloxs a gearbox can't sweat about a liter of oil , about three hours later it was repaired at no cost and the oil was topped up again the explination given was a loose bolt was found one out of 25 were loose ...bollox I think they did not replace the origenal gasket the first time. I think they made a plan and topped it up and only did a propper job this time .. So stay away from eastview bmw rather take a drive to secunda and drink coffee and check out sue-allens rack and get some good work done on your car

Damn some of the bmw dealers suck and just know how to drive customers away.
Good for you for giving them hell till they sorted the problem once and for all.

I have been with my dealer since they opened offices many moons ago and will not go anywhere else.
