There is some confusion between the 270 and the 294 kw RS3, the latter is a significantly better performing vehicle.
On a drag basis, it easily competes with a higher powered M3/4 - the M3/4 will only have its ways on the top end (very top.... +200 top).
There is also nothing wrong in cars being released with enhanced performance - a car enthusiast ought to welcome that especially M2 fans.
Be it facelift or LCI or whatever you wanna call it, that is the name of the game...
