BMW M2 Pre-Order

Hey Guys,

I am thinking about placing an order for an M2. I currently have an '09 M3 E92. I would love an M4 but a bit dear for me at this stage. I approached Vaalridge Auto BMW in Vereeniging and was told that only a limited number of M2's is destined for SA and have been sold already. However I have read that the M2 will be produced for 5 years. Does anybody have some better info about 'limited numbers'.

The general consensus is that initial stock will limited, like all new performance cars, but won't be an issue like the 1M due to the longer production cycle.

The guys who get first allocation of the cars will probably also advertise them for sale at a hefty premium over list price.

I'm willing to bet the first M2s in Autotrader will be the same price as a M4 or at least very close to that
