Sorry i am new around here, hope im posting in the right place.
I have a fault code for both my pre-cat and post cat 02 sensors, it has been like that for a long time but i am now looking to get it solved.
The sensors are quite expensive to replace, and to me it seems a little bit rediculous to replace two of these sensors for that kind of price (bosch parts).
I have heard that there is an alternative out there, i believe they are "oxygen sensor simulator sensors" or something like that.
Now i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this? I believe that they are a cheaper alternative and that it can be done.
does anyone know if this can be done, how much it costs for the parts and where i can get them from? i am based in Pietermaritzburg.
Or would it be better to just replace the pre cat 02 sensors, as i believe the post cat sensors have absolutely no impact on performance and fuel consumption
