These two companies are not the same.

And when determing value,
I had to mention the power, its an old legendary car but not worth that much
For me, it will never be worth that much.

I think I know why most folk here value it so much, they want to feel alive by being chased by hijackers. LOL

You dont seem to understand the point of history and preserving it. The same applies to SA's history. If it's not preserved there will be nothing left for future generations to enjoy... The same applies to these cars.

I guess that's what makes us Fanatics and 325IS is our unicorn up there with the CSL and 2002 turbo and and and... theses cars bring out the kid in me and to many other fanatics, that's the reason people pay so much for them. You cant put a price on happiness :thumbs:

Cars are emotive decisions. Their appeal is mainly about the feelings they evoke. Many people see cars purely as functional objects and some appreciate them.
Petroheads, however, see them more as an extension of their personality.

Every now and again, certain car companies define an icon/classic for a particular era... enter the BMW 325iS, in this case. This car means different things to the people who love it.

I, myself, deem it a classic - like a Ferrari Daytona or Alphas of old. Hence I can't imagine ever tainting it with a turbo or a supercharger - and everything else that's not an original part.
