Average fuel consumption F30 320i and 328i only

August to date : Average 10l/100 combined 320i A msport 18 inch rims, my average seems to be climbing month on month

Will be driving down to Durban tomorrow and will try and do an eco-run and see what I get, then I'll post.

First tank with my 320i Sport Auto with 18's averaged 7.3l/100km driving like a granny doing the speed limit all the time. Considering that is probably 85% motorway with very little traffic, not that impressed considering what BMW claim.

Hi guys.

New here, with a F30 328i, 2012 17".

On the open road (coastal) with family and loaded I experience approximately 7 to 8 litres to 100, overtaking as and when necessary. :=):

In town, with no highway driving at all, anything between 9 to 11 too 100. Now interestingly enough this was the same average or slightly better than I got on my E90 330d.

The E90 330d on the open road, same trips, I averaged 6.5 to 7.5 to 100.

328i just doesn't have the irritating lag experienced with the diesel....

Never thought I would buy a 4 cylinder BMW, but hey, there's always a first!
