I think OP is based in Cape Town.ray.dummer said:Cat foolers will cost around R1.5k... Remap R4k
I did the remap,....well Dastek Unichip piggyback and I still had to add cat foolers
If you remap take it to Dastek in Pretoria, they will offer the best price for installation and then take it to KAR performance to do a remap on the piggyback, as the guys at Dastek don't really do the mapping properly. ( can load some photo evidence tonight if you want)

We'll start with a Decat and Cat foolers....you will see gains but not great gains as the inboard ecu doesn't have such a great gain adjustment.
ray.dummer said:Mmmm, yeah that aint usually a sign of bad cats....its most likely a loose sensor on the exhaust or a connector thats come loose from its holder.
Had also a rattle like yours and discovered it was my post o2 sensor that was loose.

Yip , do yourself a favour, jack up your car and do a visual inspection (remove the bottom cover plate of course) and check/fell around.
Didnt completely come loose from the thread but that half a turn outwards started the rattling....until the engine/ exhaust gets hot enough.

What about a clogged up cat, you when you can smell it after driving the car? Smell like rotten eggs.
Technically it is not damaged, but it is not working optimally either.
